"I had been recommended Pam by my cousin who used her for her wedding. My cousins photo album was beautiful. We had a few conversations with Pam, and also met with her before the wedding. She was excellent. Before the wedding she checked out the venue, made herself known to the coordinator there, and also liaised with the Videographer. On the day she was amazing, she was very very calm and caught everything on camera that we wanted. The final photo album is beautiful, and we have had plenty of compliments. We would not hesitate to recommend Pam for your special day. If we could give more that 5 stars we would."Lorraine
It's easy to see why Lorraine and Alan chose The Druids Glen Hotel and Golf Resort for their wedding. The venue which is nestled in 360 acres of countryside between the Wicklow Mountains and the Irish Sea is an idyllic setting for a wedding. The grounds offer endless romantic backdrops for photographs plus the couple get to whizz from scene to scene in a golf cart- how much fun is that?! Should it rain on your day, as it did for Lorraine and Alan, you won't miss out. The hotel is beautiful, from the winding stair case, to wooden beams in the ceiling and beautiful light which pours in from its many large windows. There is ample opportunity to get great photographs.
When Alan and Lorraine booked the venue, Nessa; the wedding co-ordinator gave them some sage advice. She suggested they pick a photographer who would visit the hotel in advance of their day. This is five star advice, your day will go by in the blink of an eye, a photographer who knows your venue like the back of their hand will capture your photos in no time at all, and will have a plan in place for sunshine or rain. It snowed heavily the week before Lorraine and Alan's wedding which meant the grounds were too muddy to go out on the cart. This was not a problem as the hotel is stunning and we utilised it to its full potential.
It was lovely getting to know Lorraine and Alan in the build up to their wedding, we met for coffee in advance and chatted often, that when their day rolled around I felt like I was photographing a friend's wedding. They are a super couple and I wish them a life time of happiness.
